Mike is a student at West Chester University and attends the FCA huddle there. He attended FCA College Camp in May and had a life changing experience. Please read below to hear about it in his own words.
This was a big moment for me. Mostly because I had been wanting to get baptized since FCA camp, but couldn’t muster up the courage to do so at my own church, where I was afraid of judgement of others.
Tonight I felt God pulling on my heart in a way I’ve never felt before.
I brought my buddy Aidan (who was baptized right before me) and we both felt like we needed God to become a bigger part in us
I have been following Christ for a while, but to me, it has never been a full commitment.
Like a runner who runs alone, only pushing themselves until they’re uncomfortable, then fleeting back to the comfort of a slow pace. I needed God as my pace man. Running faster than I want to, pulling me behind Him, running as hard as I can, forcing me to push harder and dig deeper... In order to be truly happy with Him.
I’m very thankful for this group, because without it, I would’ve never went to FCA camp, and never would’ve seen His power.
Watch Mike being baptized!
