FCA Camp - A Student's Perpesctive

am a freshman at Liberty University and last week I attended a men's lacrosse game. While I was watching the game, I noticed Dan Britton standing along the fence watching the game and supporting his son, Elijah, who plays for Liberty. Towards the end of the game, I walked over to Dan and thanked him for the tremendous impact he had on my own life.

For those who don't know, Dan Britton is FCA's Executive Director of International Ministry and a former professional lacrosse player. Dan was also the main speaker for FCA's summer lacrosse camps for four years that I attended camp.

I was able to tell Dan how much of an influence FCA's lacrosse camps had on my life. FCA lacrosse camp not only developed my growth as a lacrosse player, but it grew me spiritually as well. I was able to attend this weeklong camp with other teens where I learned new skills under coaches from many different college programs. My camp counselors were current college lacrosse players who were eager to build  relationships and encourage me.  Throughout the week I was able to improve my skills as a lacrosse player but most importantly I received great teaching under  from Dan Britton and as a result I grew in my faith in Jesus Christ. These camps were some of the highlights of my summer, and I remain forever thankful for men like Dan Britton who not only helped grow abilities as a lacrosse player but also helped foster and encourage my relationship with Jesus. I would encourage you to attend an FCA camp this summer, you do not want to miss out on what God has for you!
